Heading North

Well, this is day three of touring, our first real day of visiting sites. We woke up to a warn Natanya, had a great breakfast, and headed up the coast.

First visit was the historic city of Caesarea, the great port built by Herod the Great. The place where the first Gentile came to Christ; where Paul was in prison for two years, and where 1000 years later Crusaders built a fortified city of their own.

Next Megiddo, a city of 23 level of occupation spanning 4000 years and the place where John, in Revelation, says a great final battle (in the valley of the hill (Har) of Megioddo will occur.

Finally, we went to Mt Carmel, to the site where the Prophet Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal and Ashtorah.

By the way, we have heard of another attack and killing in Jerusalem. We won't be there for a week and there is no concerns or increased security in Galilee (where we are). We are not worried about our safety, but do hope for peace and hope to break through for all the people of Jerusalem.
