A Sketchy Day at Wadi Rum

Just a short post because it’s late and I’m really tired. We got a ride from Wadi Musa (Petra) to Wadi Rum, that amazing desert area the movie Lawrence of Arabia was shot in. The car we rode in top get there was a little funky and the 4 wheel drive we rode in was beyond junky. The driver was a skilled driver, but a few times he had to pound on the hood as he tried to start the car.

We’re now in Israel, but had an great time in Jordan. I will say the people are very friendly and gracious and at no time did we ever feel in the least concerned for our safety.
